The Hidden Dangers of Constipation

Are your bowel movements regular? Do you often strain when you eliminate but to no avail?

An odd question but a very practical one. Good digestive health starts with having regular bowel movements. It has been found that over 95% of health problems start in the digestive system. In many of these, constipation has been identified as the main cause.

In a 24-four period, the number of meals you take should be the same as the number of times you have your bowel movements. If you take frequent meals, then you should also take frequent trips to the john. Not being able to do this means you are constipated. Among Americans, 65% are suffering from this condition.

Holistic Opinion offers an entirely different view of constipation from that of Traditional Opinion.

Traditional Medicine describes constipation as the passage of hard and dry stools. It believes that frequency of waste elimination depends on each person’s level of metabolism. Thus, a person with a high metabolism moves his bowels more often than a person with a slow metabolism. And since we all have different levels of metabolism, our frequency of elimination also differ from each other.

A basic human need is air. Obviously. If the air is polluted or stale, it can have adverse effects on our health. Bad indoor air can also lead to many diseases like headaches, asthma, pneumonia, hypersensitivity, dry eyes, nasal congestion, fatigue, allergic reactions and in extreme cases, cancer. This is why we must install air purifiers in order to ensure that the air that we breathe is fresh and free from any harmful elements.

The freshest air, even the coolest breeze, contains particles of dust and pollen.
